Each participant receives a kit, containing a number bib, pins, and some goodies from 5 Peaks. All participants receive a finisher's ribbon at the finish line. This years entry fee is $5. For more race footage go to www.RaceDayRush.com Course Options5 Peaks racers will now have a choice between a Sport course (4-8 km route), and an Enduro Course (10-17 km route) at all venues. In 2010, 5 Peaks racers can also challenge themselves to a 1/2 Marathon Course *distance may not be an exact 1/2 marathon measurement* at the last race of the season in each region. While the Sport course is perfect for the beginner trail runner, our Enduro course will continue to offer challenging runs, with a few new twists and turns! For those who just can't get enough trail running, the 1/2 Marathon will meet their needs!The Scotiabank Children’s Challenge is open to children 10 and under, offering an official 1 km course. Note:
Don't be intimidated. These runs are for everyone. We welcome all competitors, whether you're gunning to become a backcountry running champion or simply want to take on a new physical challenge, 5 Peaks is for you. The seasoned veteran will rip through a course in about an hour, while most of the pack will jog/hike the trail finishing the race in about an hour and a half. There will be some new locations and new course options this year and all promise to be spectacular!
