Get Out ThereLooking for a new challenge? - This is it…Canada's only national trail running series offering an exciting atmosphere, a challenging course, a competitive field, and an amazing off-road experience all while practicing & promoting sound environmental ethics!

With four courses to choose from we guarantee terrain suited for your athletic ability! Positive impact on you, no impact on the environment! Over 11,000 participants of all athletic abilities challenge themselves to a run through some of the countries most scenic and spectacular terrain. Running over rocks, roots, tree stumps, and logs, up ski hills, hiking trails, through puddles, mud, snow and much more…these courses take people off road and into the hills.

Offering 27 events during the summer in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec, participants have a choice of 4 course lengths; Children up to 10 years of age are eligible for entry into the Scotiabank Children's Challenge, where girls and boys are simply encouraged to participate in a 50 – 100m course, a Sport Course which offers entry level participants a challenging, yet manageable race through a 4-7 km trail, an Enduro Course which offers racers a variety of 10-17 km technical terrain, and at select venues in each area they offer a 21 km - 1/2 Marathon Course that offers that ultimate physical challenge.

Promoting physical fitness in all communities across Canada, 5 Peaks also offers introductory strength and conditioning / trail running clinics for participants looking to get into the growing sport, looking to challenge themselves in a new endeavor or simply enhance their already proven abilities. Our goal is to provide people a safe and controlled environment in which to experience the beauty and freedom available in Canada’s backcountry.

Trail running is about constantly changing terrain and intensity. It’s peaceful and exhilarating all at the same time. It’s gentler on the mind and on the body, taking the relentless stress out of running while building strength and engaging muscles for a dynamic work out.
